DMSC is happy to provide two winter camp options hosted by our Academy/Select Director Matt Lamale and our coaching staff. Limited participant capacity available; registration is first come, first served. Get your spot today!

New Year Camp, January 2-4

Kick off the new year with excitement, energy, and soccer! Our New Year Soccer Camp is the perfect way for young athletes to start the year strong. This camp is open to players of all skill levels, 8U-13U, who are looking to sharpen their soccer skills, meet new friends, and have a blast on the field.


Camp Highlights:


  • Skill Enhancement: Work on key soccer skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending. Our coaches will tailor sessions to fit each player's ability and focus on individual improvement.


  • Game Tactics: Learn valuable game strategies and how to read the game better, whether you're playing offense or defense. Tactical drills will help campers understand positioning, movement, and decision-making.


  • Fun & Competitive Activities: Enjoy fun games, challenges, and friendly competitions designed to keep kids engaged, improve teamwork, and develop your competitive spirit.


  • Positive, Motivational Coaching: Our experienced coaches emphasize not only skill development but also teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship in every session.

​Cabin Fever Camp, March 10-14

Shake off the winter blues and get ready for an action-packed week at our Cabin Fever Soccer Camp! This week-long camp is designed for young athletes, 8U-13U, who are looking to stay active, improve their soccer skills, and have a great time with friends.


Camp Highlights:


  • Skill Development: Focus on fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending. 


  • Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Participate in group activities and small-sided games that emphasize cooperation, leadership, and fair play. Team-building exercises will help campers strengthen their communication and collaboration skills.


  • Fun Winter Games: Break the winter chill with indoor soccer games and drills designed to keep players active and engaged. 


  • Individual & Team Progress: Whether you're working on individual techniques or improving as a team, this camp offers opportunities for both personal growth and team success.


  • Positive Environment: Our focus is on creating a fun, encouraging environment where every camper feels valued and motivated to improve, fostering a love for the game.

*Winter in the Midwest can be highly unpredictable! All space this winter has been rented through the West Des Moines Community School district, and is subject to district policy, which states that if school is closed due to weather, facilities will close that evening as well. In the event of a weather related district facilities closure, we will do our best to find an alternative date to reschedule the missed session. If we are not able to find additional time to reschedule, we will add a credit to each registrant's account at the end of our winter programming with a prorated amount that reflects the missed session.
