Pre-Academy Program
Our Pre-Academy Program is designed to provide young players with an introductory experience to help them transition smoothly into the Academy environment.
Who is it for?
This program is open to all players born in 2017 and currently participating in our In-house Rec Program. Player ability is not a determining factor at this stage; the focus is on skill development, learning, and most importantly, enjoyment. For those players with advanced abilities, the program provides a chance to embrace additional challenges and continue their growth.
Academy Director Matt Lamale or one of our experienced Academy coaches will host sessions that will mirror the structure and training methods used within the Academy and offer players and parents an opportunity to better understand what to expect in the coming years should they choose to continue their soccer journey with us.
Session Highlights:
- Players will become familiar with our coaching staff and train alongside potential future teammates.
- Reinforce fundamental soccer skills and ease the transition into the more demanding Academy environment.
- In addition to regular practice sessions with their In-house 8U teams, players will have an extra weekly training opportunity designed to prepare them for the increased commitment required in the Academy.
